The What Works website has been created for boarding schools and residences to provide online access to information, materials and resources that have been collated from existing knowledge and resources and supplemented by new resources, such as fact sheets, how-to guides and short videos. Information and resources include academic research, reports relating to Indigenous education and boarding, existing resources shared by stakeholders, government reports and policies, video content, and links to relevant websites.
Indigenous Education & Boarding Australia (IEBA) is a purpose driven, non-profit organisation, with the vision that all Indigenous students attain educational outcomes to be successful in their future choices.
IEBA operates as an impartial national peak with effective working relationships with Independent, Catholic, Christian, Lutheran and government education providers. Representing Indigenous voice is central to realizing our vision and 50% of IEBA’s Directors identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.
The What Works project has been funded by the Australian Government through the National Indigenous Australians Agency.
